Charged the loa of New Orleans to bring hope to the all in Haiti who suffer so much.
Asked our loa to work with the Haitian loa to relieve suffering.

Voodoo Spiritual Temple
The Temple will have a Mass for the Dead of Haiti in the first week of February.
By then the dead, at least directly from the earthquake itself, will know that they have passed into the world of the Invisibles.

It would be wonderful if New Orleans and Haiti would welcome the Haitians. Our neighborhood could use more people. Holy Cross is 49% reoccupied. Across Saint Claude; there is a 19% resettlement.

Haiti….A God(dess) that allows suffering: In defense of rather Christian beliefs. Why bad things happen to…. If I was a Christian Priest, this would occupy my pulpit time.
Mishlen has been feeding cats in our courtyard; the 9th ward is full of cats. One was pregnant and introduced 5 new born to the furry gaggle. Mishlen arranged for the cats to be taken to a humane shelter and put the now rather large new cats in a box for transport.
I realized that to the cats, Mishlen was a powerful (omnipotent?) Goddess. Also, this may have some objective spiritual truth. She may have been a “Goddess” and the “cats” may be something entirely different a slight shift away. She mysteriously gave and now she as mysteriously took away. Their fate at the humane shelter was better. There was no way to explain this to the cats.
