New Orleans Voodoo Spiritual Tmple….Begin reading Prirstess Miriam’s mss. An autobiography. If there was only something like this for Marie Laveau. A personal snapshot of a world. This will give Miriam more control of the story of her life and how it is told. So personal, something best said in one’s own voice.

Photo Graphs Fog on the Mississippi. The breath of the spirits rises from the water.
Giant cruise liner cutting through the fog 13 stories above me. The wall of steel is hidden by grey mists.
Wednesday

The veve of New Orleans we have been working on will be on Priestess Miriam’s and Dr. John’s float in the Krewe du Vieux Parade. Strong launch for the veve.
Thursday

Lower Netzach with Mishlen. This is important. Netzach is a weak spot in my magickal armor. What could be bright and luminous is rather dull and spotted with desires that do not serve the Angel. Like a levee with a low point, the entire spiritual path could flood from one underdeveloped area. I tend to favor Hod and go to Netzach to play. This is unbalanced. The treasures of Netzach are marginalized.

Priestess Miriam is this years Queen of the Krewe du Vieux. Dr. John is her Queen. Awards party tonight. Mgdlyn has done so much in so short a time. She is making Priestess Miriam’s and Dr. John’s clothing for the Parade and helping to paint the veves on the float
Saturday

Krewe du Vieux Parade and Ball.
Ritual…offerings during the progress of the Royal Float.
Absinthe to the ancestors. To All those who have walked these streets.
Ah! Creative and so much fun. Walked next to Priestess Miriam’s and Dr. John’s royal float taking photographs. Helped to protect the crowd from the hard looking wheels.
Gave contract and signature of Jean Montannee to Bela to give to Dr. John.

Lower Netzach. This is the vessel of love and as such also the vessel of hate and all of the beauty and misunderstandings on the road between the two. It is important for conjurer to speak with all of his or her voices. Ah! What I am learning I plan to put in a chapter in an expanded Faces of Babalon.
